Shop-With-A-Cop Golf Outing

Scott Gamboe, the event organizer, will be signing copies of his two novels, The Killing Frost,  and The Piaras Legacy, at the outing.  He will donate $2 to the charity for every book sold!

Welcome to the newly redesigned home on the web for the Shop-With-A-Cop golf outing.  Our event, nicknamed “The Shootout,” has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 16, 2008.  We will still have a 1pm shotgun start, and once again, we will be holding the outing at Sunset Hills Golf Course in Pekin.  We apologize for the inconvenience of changing the date, but unfortunately, it was unavoidable.

We have added some new features this year, and we’ve brought back some favorite from previous outings.  Topping the list is the addition of hole-in-one prizes.  Jim McComb Chevrolet has been gracious enough to furnish these prizes, to be offered on all four par 3 holes.

Also, we are continuing to receive much appreciated help from the girls at the Chi Omega sorority at Bradley University.  Their aid has been invaluable the past two years, providing much-needed assistance in running the skill shot games and helping with the beverage carts.  We all look forward to seeing them out there again this year!
